About Me

I am based near Winchester in Hampshire and have access to beautiful, local countryside and this gives me inspirations for my work creating artisan jewellery.  I enjoy walking and am lucky to have natural beauty and walks to close to me.  However, I also appreciate nature in urban areas as well.  If you look you can always find something beautiful, whether it is a small plant growing out of brickwork or a wild flower on the roadside.

Other things that I love to do include yoga, choir and learning Spanish.  With yoga I enjoy the fluidity of movement and this is also incorporated into my jewellery designs.

I believe that a varied life leads to a fulfilled life and that learning is a lifelong process.

Different experiences definitely make life more interesting and fulfilled.

My Story

So, back to my jewellery story.  I completed a course in creation and design techniques in 2012 at a local college.  This opened up my life to a pastime that I really felt connected to and absorbed in.  Since then, I have been making jewellery for myself, family and friends but then in 2022 I decided it was time for me to take the leap and develop my love of designing and creating jewellery into a business.

My signature designs are organic in shape and each piece is handmade by me.  This means that every item is individually handcrafted by me in my studio.  Designs and styles come into my head and I look at the pieces of silver, copper or other metals that I have and then decide where the design goes after that.  The process of designing and creating is definitely a fluid and ongoing approach that I feel deep inside of me.  I believe that this way of working produces items that reflect my style and demonstrate fluidity of design.  The raw materials I usually use are silver and copper and on occasions gold or distressed steel.  One of my consistently popular designs (and a particular favourite of mine) are the silver nugget stud earrings.  As these are molten silver, I never know the exact formation of the design until it is complete.  These also reflect the uniqueness of each piece as no two nuggets are the same and create for example, an asymmetrical pair of earrings.  For me, asymmetrical things can be more interesting than symmetry.  I am also considerate to environmental issues and wherever possible I use recycled materials.  For example, after work in my house I recycled copper piping and created them into artisan copper bangles.  I feel that we all have to do what we can to reduce, reuse and recycle in order to help the future of our planet. If you would like to purchase or commission one of my designs, please contact me through the contact page and I will get back to you so that we can chat through your ideas so that the piece is individual to your wishes. If you have some specific requirements, please use the  order enquiry form.

I also like to diversify at times with concepts and these currently include  jewellery dishes.  They are usually made from copper  but could also be made from silver.  They are fun to design and make and hopefully bring a bit of joy to you or as a gift.  Examples of these are in the jewellery gallery.

Well, I do so hope you enjoy browsing this website as much as I enjoy producing the designs for it.

Love and light.
